Job summary

Sparrows Point Country Club in Dundalk, MD, is seeking a driven Full-Time Line Cook to join a Troon-managed, hospitality-focused property. The role supports the Chef and Kitchen Manager across outlets, upholding safety and quality standards while working in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least four years in fine dining, a strong work ethic, and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of experience in a fine dining environment.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for quality of all products served.
• Assist Chef/Kitchen Manager with setup and preparation of food items for all outlets.
• Follow standard recipes accurately when preparing assigned items.
• Assist with monthly food and supplies inventory.
• Maintain and use kitchen equipment properly.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties for food prep and storage areas.
• Distribute food and supplies across outlets.
• Clean food production, holding, and serving equipment as needed.
• Assist with receiving and storing products.
• Maintain compliance with Department of Health regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
