Job summary

Sparrows Point Country Club, Dundalk, MD, is seeking a Full-Time Line Cook to join Troon’s hospitality team. You will assist the Chef and Kitchen Manager, prepare food for all outlets, and uphold sanitation and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Beneficial candidates have at least four years of fine dining experience, are dependable, team-oriented, and capable of following direction, with availability nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of experience in a fine dining environment.
• Experience maintaining safe working conditions.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Must be dependable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to follow direction.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for quality of all products served.
• Assist Chef/Kitchen Manager with setup and preparation of food items for all outlets.
• Follow standard recipes accurately when preparing assigned items.
• Assist with monthly food and supplies inventory.
• Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties for food preparation and storage areas as directed.
• Help distribute food and supplies across all outlets.
• Clean food production, holding, and serving equipment as needed.
• Assist with receiving and storing products.
• Maintain full compliance with Department of Health regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
