This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months banquet experience, and the ability to serve alcohol with age 18+. A positive attitude, reliability, and knowledge of banquet setup are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months banquet setting or service experience, or equivalent.
• Past catering, banquet, or server experience is a plus.
• Must be 18 years or older to serve alcohol.
• Knowledge of banquet setup.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare function site and ensure meeting room is set per specifications.
• Serve food and beverages to guests per guidelines.
• Set dining tables, buffets, and service areas per Banquet Event Order.
• Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Help maintain a clean banquet or catering area and equipment.
• Assist in inventory control and waste monitoring in banquet areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by anticipating guest needs.
