Job summary

World Equestrian Center in Ocala, FL is seeking a Culinary Supervisor (Full Time) to oversee daily kitchen operations in Stirrups Restaurant and ensure the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety.

You will supervise and train staff, manage inventory and costs, and collaborate with the Chef De Cuisine to maintain exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, fine dining environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of culinary experience required.
• 3+ years in culinary, preferably in fine dining.
• At least 1 year in supervisory or leadership role.
• Must read and write English.
• Food safety and sanitation certifications (e.g., ServSafe) are required.
• Culinary arts degree or equivalent preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise food preparation and plating to ensure consistency with fine dining standards.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Lead kitchen staff, train new hires, and schedule shifts.
• Monitor workflow during service and manage inventory with cost awareness.
• Collaborate on menu development and seasonal offerings.
• Communicate between BOH and FOH to ensure guest satisfaction.
