World Equestrian Center is seeking a Cook to join its culinary teams in Ocala, FL. This evergreen requisition builds a talent pipeline for future opportunities across restaurants, banquets and catering operations at a premier hospitality destination.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow recipes and standardized procedures.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Prepare ingredients, including washing, chopping, measuring and portioning.
• Maintain proper food handling, labeling, dating and storage.
• Ensure quality, consistency and presentation meet standards.
• Monitor inventory and notify leadership of shortages.
• Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing deliveries using FIFO.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and equipment.
• Collaborate with chefs and team to meet service demands.
• Support banquet, catering, and event production as assigned.
• Assist with opening, closing and side work responsibilities.
• Minimize waste and adhere to portion control guidelines.
