Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking an engaging Hostperson at Bavette’s Steakhouse, Park MGM in Las Vegas. You will greet guests, seat them, and coordinate with servers and management to ensure a polished dining experience.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in fine dining hosting, strong guest service, and excellent communication. Weekend/holiday availability is required, with perks including employee dining and discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience in a Fine Dining restaurant as a dining host preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them promptly.
• Coordinate with reservations and convey special requests to management.
• Maintain knowledge of daily activities, house count, and dress code.
• Answer phones and manage the reservation book.
• Ensure menus are current and replace worn menus.
• Relay guest needs to kitchen/management and assist as needed.
• Monitor cleanliness and organization of the host area.
• Keep waiting guests informed about table status.
