Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Host for Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia, PA. You will greet guests, escort them to tables, and coordinate seating to optimize flow and guest experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and guest service skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and the stamina to stand for long periods. English proficiency and willingness to obtain required licenses are essential.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a host in a high-volume and/or fine dining environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized to effectively and efficiently multi-task.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a normal shift.
• Ability to communicate (hear, speak, read, and write) in English.
• Ability to obtain/maintain any other necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and book reservations utilizing the company reservation system in accordance with established standards.
• Process payment transactions in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist with station assignments, rotating planning, and opening/closing/securing the room.
• Complete side work duties in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
