Job summary

The Wynn Las Vegas is seeking a Fine Dining Food Server to deliver a personalized, Forbes Five-Star dining experience. You will apply extensive knowledge of food, wine, and beverage offerings, taking accurate orders and guiding guests through the dining journey.

As a primary guest contact, you will maintain impeccable service, coordinate with kitchen and service staff, and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue in a luxury environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3+ years of experience as a food server in a fine dining or luxury environment preferred.
• Strong background in upscale dining, wine service, or similar hospitality setting.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, personalized service to guests throughout the dining experience
• Anticipate guest needs and preferences to deliver a seamless and memorable experience
• Maintain a polished, professional presence consistent with luxury service expectations
• Build rapport with guests to encourage repeat visits and enhance satisfaction
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of food, wine, and beverage offerings
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders, including modifications and dietary restrictions
• Provide expert recommendations based on guest preferences and dining occasion
• Clearly communicate menu descriptions, ingredients, and preparation methods
• Execute proper sequence of service, including presentation, timing of courses, and table maintenance
• Perform wine and beverage service according to fine dining standards
• Ensure all food and beverages are served with accuracy, proper presentation, and attention to detail
• Maintain continuous awareness of table status to coordinate course pacing
• Maintain a clean, polished, and organized table throughout the dining experience
• Coordinate with bussers and food runners to ensure seamless service flow
• Perform pre-bussing and reset elements as needed to maintain table readiness
• Ensure all details of the table presentation meet Wynn standards
• Address guest concerns promptly, professionally, and with discretion
• Partner with management to implement service recovery when necessary
• Deliver consistent, high-quality service to all guests, including VIP clientele
• Work closely with hosts, food runners, bussers, and culinary teams to ensure smooth operations
• Communicate guest preferences, allergies, and special requests effectively
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and team briefings to align on daily priorities
• Accurately process guest checks and handle all related financial transactions
• Upsell menu items, specialty dishes, and beverages to drive revenue
• Maintain awareness of sales goals and support department performance
• Adhere to Wynn grooming, uniform, and presentation standards at all times
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Uphold Wynn’s core values and luxury brand standards in all guest interactions
