Job summary

Fearrington Village, a Relais & Châteaux property near Chapel Hill, NC, is seeking a motivated Food Runner/Backwait to support our front-of-house team during evening service. You will help maintain the flow of service with precision and care in a fine dining setting.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow in hospitality and gain experience in a renowned restaurant environment while working in a picturesque countryside property outside Chapel Hill.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.
• Professional, positive attitude.
• Must be available Thursday through Sunday evenings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately.
• Assist servers with table maintenance, including clearing, resetting, and water service.
• Support seamless communication between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Ensure dining areas remain clean, organized, and service-ready at all times.
• Assist with polishing, stocking, and preparing service stations.
• Anticipate team and guest needs to support an elevated dining experience.
