Relais & Châteaux Fearrington is seeking a motivated Food Runner/Backwait to support our fine dining team during evening service. This part-time role is essential for maintaining flow, delivering precision, and contributing to an elevated guest experience in our award-winning restaurant.

Ideal candidates are eager to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced hospitality environment while ensuring exceptional service and teamwork with front-of-house and kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.
• Must be available Thursday through Sunday evenings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately.
• Assist servers with table maintenance, including clearing, resetting, and water service.
• Support seamless communication between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Ensure dining areas remain clean, organized, and service-ready at all times.
• Assist with polishing, stocking, and preparing service stations.
• Anticipate team and guest needs to support an elevated dining experience.
