Sea Island Company on Saint Simons Island, GA is seeking an Expeditor to ensure efficient dining room flow and guest experiences. You will act as a liaison between kitchen and front-of-house, coordinating guest requests with servers, chefs, and the Supervisor on duty to deliver exceptional service.

You will manage plate transport, plate presentation, and station upkeep, while assisting in training and occasionally rearranging service area furnishings to support peak hours.

Formación

• Experience in fine dining or similar service role.
• ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Aptitude and ability to use a restaurant POS system successfully and accurately.
• Safety mindset; knowledge of chemicals used in commercial kitchens/dining.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform a food service role, including lifting 50+ pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver plates to the dining room in a timely, accurate manner.
• Maintain a breakdown station from setup through shift, assist kitchen and service staff.
• Clear and reset tables; restock service areas and beverage station; maintain cleanliness of counters and storeroom areas.
• Relocate and arrange restaurant furnishings and equipment; assist in training new team members when necessary.
