Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL, seeks a seasoned Fine Dining Pier Top - Cook I to join our culinary team. You will work under the Sous Chef to deliver distinctively authentic Mediterranean culinary experiences and provide outstanding service to our guests.

Reporting to the Sous Chef, this role emphasizes refined techniques, precise execution, and consistent quality in a high-end dining environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience in fine dining or similar culinary settings.
• Degree in culinary arts preferred.
• Commitment to service excellence and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships to support the team.
• Prepare refined dishes using traditional flavors and modern techniques.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures.
• Thaw food properly and maintain proper storage.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnishing.
• Maintain detailed food logs and monitor quality.
• Communicate effectively during busy periods.
• Adhere to departmental policies; assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching.
