Troon is hiring a Full-Time Cook I for Grande Oaks Golf Club in Davie, FL. The role requires adaptability, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting within a private club environment.

Responsibilities include preparing menu items, ensuring portion control, maintaining sanitation, and assisting the chef with daily kitchen operations. Prior experience in a private club or resort is preferred, with a strong emphasis on food safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of cook experience in a fine dining setting or equivalent culinary training.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience at a private club and/or resort preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items following recipes, portions, and quality standards.
• Assist with kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Follow safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
• Label and date all products using FIFO method.
• Maintain sanitation standards and proper storage of leftovers.
• Support chef and maintain a neat, professional appearance in the kitchen.
