Cherokee Nation Entertainment seeks a Cook to prepare and cook menu items in a high-volume, premium dining environment at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa. You will follow established recipes, maintain quality, and support a clean, safe kitchen.

You will work with the culinary team in a fast-paced setting, ensuring timely service, accurate portions, and presentation. Experience with steaks, seafood, and upscale American cuisine is preferred; flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, or high-volume kitchen.
• Experience with steaks, seafood, and upscale American cuisine preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and handling practices.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure proper portioning, plating, and presentation for all dishes.
• Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients for daily service.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and temperatures during shifts.
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, rotation, and handling per health regs.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and prep areas.
• Communicate with chefs and teammates for timely service.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing kitchen inventory.
• Follow company policies, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
