Job summary

CHEROKEE NATION ENTERTAINMENT is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook menu items to established recipes and quality standards at Carver's on 19. You will maintain a clean workstation, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with a culinary team in a fast-paced casino kitchen.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and obtain a Food Handler's Card. Previous experience with steaks, seafood, and upscale American cuisine is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, or high-volume kitchen is preferred.
• Experience preparing steaks, seafood, and upscale American cuisine is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and prep areas.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and team members to ensure timely service.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing kitchen inventory as needed.
• Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
