Job summary

Country Club of Detroit is seeking servers to provide exceptional dining experiences across our multiple venues, from casual to fine dining. You will greet Members and guests, present menus, take orders, serve courses, and maintain pristine table settings while collaborating with a team to ensure smooth service.

This role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a strong commitment to member satisfaction in a fast-paced club environment.

Qualifications

• Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge Members and guests.
• Distributes and is knowledgeable about menu and beverages.
• Ability to time the service of each course.
• Learns Member’s names and their special preferences.
• Ensures correct account numbers for billing.
• Present a polite and friendly attitude.
• Sets up side station and performs assigned side (prep) work.
• Provides immediate attention to all Members and guests.
• Removes soiled dishes and clears tables after each course and resets with appropriate silverware.
• Performs clean-up and reset of tables.
