Max Downtown in Hartford, CT, is seeking an experienced Bartender with a fine dining background to join the Max Hospitality Team. You should thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting and deliver a refined guest experience.

Responsibilities include crafting cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages; maintaining a polished bar; handling transactions; verifying IDs; and collaborating with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in fine dining is required.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and spirits.
• TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Mix and serve a wide range of cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Provide outstanding guest service by creating a warm, welcoming bar atmosphere.
• Uphold standards of presentation, portion control, and consistency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
