Job summary

Brasserie Boulud NY, part of The Dinex Group, seeks skilled and hospitality-driven bartenders to join our team. The Bartender delivers an exceptional bar experience through knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits, while providing warm, refined service that aligns with our fine dining standards.

Qualified candidates have 2–3 years in a high-end setting, strong cocktail and wine expertise, and excellent guest engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of bartending experience in a high-end or fine dining environment.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits; French wine knowledge is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor with a passion for hospitality and beverage craftsmanship.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests with precision and consistency.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of classic cocktails, French wines, spirits, and aperitifs/digestifs.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food and beverage menus, including seasonal dishes, daily offerings.
• Engage guests at the bar with professional, friendly, and attentive service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times.
• Ensure accuracy in order taking, drink preparation, and billing.
• Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with laws and company policies.
• Collaborate with Servers and kitchen staff to support overall service flow.
• Assist in bar prep, inventory, and restocking as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Uphold the restaurant’s standards of professionalism, appearance, and hospitality.
