Job summary

Big Canyon Country Club in Newport Beach, CA seeks a Back Server to support our Front servers and help deliver exceptional hospitality to members and their families in a refined dining environment.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a professional demeanor as you assist with drink service, run food from expo to tables, and maintain pristine service areas during holidays, weekends, and night shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years in food industry positions (busser, expeditor, host, server) with fine dining experience preferred.
• Must work holidays, weekends, nights, and day shifts as needed.
• Learn and adapt to POS System; maintain etiquette and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Front servers, host staff, and management in clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables.
• Assist with drink orders, wines, cocktails, coffee, and tea service.
• Run food from expo line to tables and bar.
• Keep service areas and bar stocked at all times.
• Communicate with Chefs and expo to meet member needs.
• Maintain light conversation with members.
• Polish silverware and glassware.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
