Job summary

Rivers Casino Portsmouth is seeking an experienced fine dining style assistant restaurant manager to oversee day-to-day operations at Admiral’s Steak & Seafood and the Black Card Lounge. You will ensure guest service standards, manage staff, and work with the manager to control inventory and scheduling.

Candidates will have at least two years in fine dining management, bartending and serving experience preferred, and be able to obtain or hold required gaming licenses and a Food Manager

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience as a fine dining assistant restaurant manager.
• Bartending and serving experience preferred.
• Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).

Responsibilities

• Ensure Guest Service Standards are met consistently.
• Ensures proper staffing for forecasted volume and budgetary guidelines through proper training of supervisors.
• Assists the Manager in ordering for the restaurant including all food, beverages, and supplies.
• Communicates problems to the Manager and other departments as needed.
