Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. at Bear Mountain is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for our fine dining venue. Under the direction of the Restaurant Manager, you will assist in managing front-of-house operations, ensuring guest service, sanitation, and cost control.

You will train, onboard, schedule staff, and communicate with general managers, chefs, and cooks to maintain high standards. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's is preferred, and food safety certification is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Restaurant management experience strongly preferred.
• Food safety certification; strong sanitation skills; alcohol service TIPS or MAST certification.
• Basic computer knowledge including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, problem solve, and direct staff to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Assist in training, onboarding, and scheduling staff.
• Communicate with General Manager, F&B Manager, Restaurant Manager, Chefs and Cooks to ensure safe, professional service.
• Participate in team meetings to maintain high standards; support events.
• Supervise staff to enforce standards and minimize conflicts.
