Job summary

Citi London is seeking a Financing & Clearing Product Manager to guide the multi-asset platform for prime brokerage and securities financing. This hybrid role combines front-office engagement with technology delivery, risk and controls, and governance across global teams.

You will influence strategic direction, build deep client relationships, and lead cross-functional initiatives to drive revenue growth and platform innovation in a complex regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in prime brokerage, or securities financing within a Tier-1 investment bank, prime broker, or institutional fintech, with a demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional strategic initiatives and delivering measurable revenue growth or platform transformation.
• 8-10+ years of managerial experience leading high-performing teams.
• Deep domain expertise across cash and synthetic prime brokerage, securities lending and borrowing, repo financing, margin models, and trade lifecycle workflows.
• Strong technical and platform acumen, including modern distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, API design (REST, FIX), event-driven messaging, and data analytics.
• Superior communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to articulate complex concepts to executives and trading desks.

Responsibilities

• Own Platform Innovation and Capability Development: define multi-year roadmap for cash prime brokerage, synthetic equities, and related services; lead large cross-functional initiatives to deliver advanced functionality.
• Serve as Strategic Liaison Across Business, Technology, and Operations: scope requirements, lead agile delivery, and drive execution with global tech and operations.
• Provide Regulatory and Industry Thought Leadership: anticipate regulatory impacts and shape product direction accordingly.
• Establish Rigorous Risk and Control Frameworks: oversee operations and technology partners for flawless execution of trade lifecycle, margins, settlements, and corporate actions.
• Build and Maintain Strategic Client Relationships: act as trusted advisor on platform capabilities, margin optimization, and regulatory compliance.
