Job summary

PNC’s Retail Bank Development Program offers recent graduates an accelerated path into leadership roles in banking, with hands-on experience, sales, technical and leadership training across core retail channels.

The Financial Wellness Solutions track focuses on delivering holistic employee financial wellness programs, including banking, investing, education, health savings accounts and related benefits, with travel and relocation opportunities as needed.

Qualifications

• Recent university graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills.
• Roles at this level are filled by recent university/college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs or assists in banking activities, including researching clients or prospects, creating and/or calling on targeted calling lists, scheduling, attending and/or leading client or prospect appointments, creating presentations and/or proposals, and identifying and/or delivering on next steps to move relationships forward.
• Proactively acquires new clients through effective prospecting, networking, relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
• Handles or assists in relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients to ensure we deliver an exceptional client experience while also deepening relationships over time.
• Focuses on providing ideas and insights to clients based on an understanding of their needs and financial goals.
• Interacts with internal/external clients to gather or clarify information and/or expand existing client relationships to develop skills needed to independently generate revenue and deepen share of wallet.
• Participates in social learning, for example, identifies and networks with business representatives and peers and participates in mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach, to ensure appropriate foundations in product and sales.
• Participates in formal learning to develop the skills needed to excel in the role.
