Job summary

PNC’s Retail Banking Development Program offers recent graduates a structured, 24‑month accelerated track blending sales, leadership and financial wellness education across multiple lines of business.

Program participants gain hands‑on banking experience, client engagement and relationship management with a focus on helping customers move toward their financial goals. The track is located across PNC’s footprint and requires own vehicle for travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA 3.0 in preferred majors.
• Roles at this level are filled by recent university graduates with little or no professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs or assists in banking activities including researching clients, creating/calling targets, scheduling and leading client or prospect appointments, and delivering on next steps to move relationships forward.
• Proactively acquires new clients through prospecting and relationship-building.
• Handles or assists in relationship management with new and existing clients to deliver excellent client experience.
• Focuses on providing ideas and insights to clients based on their financial goals.
• Interacts with clients to gather information and expand relationships to develop skills to generate revenue.
• Participates in social learning, mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach to build foundations in product and sales.
• Participates in formal learning to develop needed skills.
