Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Job Title: Systems Manager – AP Production Support

Location: 100% Remote

Start Date: Immediately

Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire (Strong potential for early conversion)

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Overview:

We are seeking a Systems Manager – AP Production Support to join our team and take ownership of production support for our Accounts Payable (AP) systems. This individual will be the key liaison between Finance and IT, providing hands-on technical expertise in Lawson AP, SQL, and data visualization tools like Looker. If you have a passion for optimizing invoice workflows and solving complex data challenges, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Lawson AP modules, with a focus on system performance, data integrity, and process optimization.
• Provide daily production support for AP-related systems: triage issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot match exceptions (e.g., quantity discrepancies, cost errors) and issues in the invoice receiving process.
• Identify and resolve errors originating from third-party systems and incorrect file types.
• Write and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate AP data from data warehouses and Lawson databases.
• Utilize Looker (or similar tools like Tableau or Power BI) to create dashboards, reports, and insights supporting AP performance and KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reporting and system requirements, and drive automation and efficiency improvements.
• Support and participate in system upgrades, patches, and AP enhancement projects.
• Maintain strong documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Lawson AP and Landmark, including understanding of Landmark tables and data structures.
• Advanced SQL skills – must be capable of writing complex queries, performing joins, and retrieving data from large enterprise data warehouses (ETL experience preferred).
• Experience with Looker, Tableau, or Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Deep understanding of invoice workflows – from sender to organization – including error identification and resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a technical role, while also grasping broader financial operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a healthcare or enterprise financial systems environment.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and large-scale data ecosystems.
• Background in AP automation or systems transformation projects.
