Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to support the Finance Division's reporting processes within the MRO group. The role bridges Finance, Accounting, Business Lines, and Technology to analyze data, ensure reporting accuracy, and drive data initiatives.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting/finance knowledge and problem-solving skills, with experience in Excel and reporting platforms. This position emphasizes month-end, regulatory reporting, and data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Six or more years of related experience.
• Eight or more years in Accounting, Finance, Financial Reporting or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data for reporting.
• Conduct financial data analysis, reconciliation, and validation.
• Collaborate with accounting, business lines and technology partners to resolve discrepancies.
• Develop test plans for system enhancements and data integrations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial reporting.
• Document findings and maintain reporting controls.
• Participate in projects affecting financial and regulatory reporting.
