Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to support the Finance Division's managerial and regulatory reporting within the Management Reporting Operations group.

This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial data used for internal and external reporting. You will collaborate with accounting teams, business lines, and technology partners to research and resolve financial reporting discrepancies, develop test plans for reporting enhancements, and maintain controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Six or more years of related experience.
• Eight or more years in Accounting, Finance, Financial Reporting, or Regulatory Reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support managerial and regulatory reporting with accurate financial data.
• Perform financial data analysis, reconciliation, and validation.
• Collaborate with accounting, business lines, and technology to resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze business requirements and impacts on financial reporting and data systems.
• Develop and execute test plans for enhancements, new reporting requirements, and data integrations.
• Document findings, issues, and recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in developing and maintaining reporting controls and documentation.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting activities.
• Participate in periodic production support and issue resolution.
