Job summary

Veterans United Home Loans is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to partner with the Accounting team in simplifying and scaling processes. You’ll analyze workflows and data, build reports and dashboards using SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Python, and explore AI-enabled solutions to reduce repetitive tasks and strengthen controls.

You’ll collaborate with technical and non-technical teammates, ensure accuracy, and support adoption of new tools across the accounting function.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing financial data and turning it into actionable insights.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical teammates.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and scalable reporting architectures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Accounting to understand workflows and identify manual work, reporting gaps, and data risks.
• Design, build, test and maintain reports, dashboards, queries, Excel automations and scalable tools.
• Validate work for accuracy, reliability and sustainability of solutions.
