Job summary

COUNTRY Financial is seeking an experienced accounting professional to develop, implement, analyze, and maintain business systems impacting the general ledger. You will perform journal entries and account reconciliations, establish accounting policies, and ensure proper control within the general ledger.

You will review projects affecting the ledger, balance interfaces, train staff, and collaborate with Technology to optimize financial systems and processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

Responsibilities

• Represents the department in providing recommendations related to projects that impact the ledger which includes requirements, report building, assisting in testing and implementation.
• Reviews or completes account reconciliations, interface balancing, and the processing of journal entries in an accurate and timely manner.
• Updates and maintains close schedules to keep Controllers on track to meet the financial reporting deadlines.
• Completes analysis regarding processes, systems, or other inquiries from internal/external departments and provides feedback or recommendations.
• Evaluates the operating efficiencies of systems, procedures, and workflow related to accounting operations for the department. Makes recommendations and implements any improvements identified.
• Serves as the accounting department liaison to Technology regarding business systems.
• Trains staff on financial transactions that occur within these business systems.

About The Role

Base Pay Range

$64,800-$89,100

Incentive Pay

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
