COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Senior Accounting Systems Analyst in Bloomington, IL to develop, implement, analyze and maintain business systems impacting the general ledger. You’ll complete journal entries, run reconciliations, and ensure accurate close processes to meet deadlines.

The role requires 4+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical and accounting system skills, and collaboration with technology partners.

Completes journal entries and account reconciliations related to the business system processes. Establishes and maintains accounting policies and control within the general ledger.How does this role make an impact?Represents the department in providing recommendations related to projects that impact the ledger which includes requirements, report building, assisting in testing and implementation.Reviews or completes account reconciliations, interface balancing, and the processing of journal entries in an accurate and timely manner.Updates and maintains close schedules to keep Controllers on track to meet the financial reporting deadlines.Completes analysis regarding processes, systems, or other inquiries from internal/external departments and provides feedback or recommendations.Evaluates the operating efficiencies of systems, procedures, and workflow related to accounting operations for the department. Makes recommendations and implements any improvements identified.Serves as the accounting department liaison to Technology regarding business systems.Trains staff on financial transactions that occur within these business systems.Do you have what we're looking for?Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.Base Pay Range:$64,800-$89,100The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired.
