Job Description: The selected candidate will work as a Financial System Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller (OASA (FM&C)) at Thompson Gray. Responsibilities include assisting in the management and oversight of the G-Invoicing implementation and the process/system use for all Army Commands. The Financial System SME will support the FOA-I Team in developing relevant policy, standard operating procedures, system requirements, and metrics, ensuring compliance with U.S. Treasury and DoD mandates and guidance, and achieving key milestones such as performing business process re-engineering initiatives andsuccessfully implementing additional G-Invoicing system enhancements.

Duties will include:
- Developing and managing system requirements
- Performing business process re-engineering where appropriate
- Analyzing various mandates, regulations, statutes, and guidance to ensure process and system compliance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment with organizational goals
- Performing analyses to identify non-compliant activities and implement mitigation strategies
- Assisting with the drafting and updating of comprehensive reimbursable guidance
- Providing end user support for G-Invoicing transactions when necessary
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 20+ years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, and/or project management
- U.S. citizen with an Active SECRET clearance
- Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certificates preferred
- Experience supporting or working in an Army Finance office with knowledge of Army financial systems, data, and processes preferred
- Experience with Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), Sales Orders (SOs), Support Agreements, and/or any type of intragovernmental reimbursable transaction
- Experience implementing a new system or process into an organization
- Experience working in fully remote work settings and the use of virtual project management tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to interface effectively with both functional and technical stakeholders
