UT Health San Antonio in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Financial Specialist-Intermediate within the Business Services Center. You will facilitate end-to-end financial transactions for client units, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

You will review inquiries, process travel reimbursements, requisitions, transfers, and payments; maintain dashboards; manage client relationships; identify issues and drive process improvements; and educate customers on policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required, or four additional years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of institutional financial administration policies and procedures.
• Experience with financial transactions and customer service.

Responsabilités

• Reviews and responds to financial process inquiries via phone, email, or service desk.
• Initiates and processes travel requisitions, reimbursements, purchase requisitions, internal transfers, and payments.
• Maintains documentation for transactions and ensures accuracy and compliance.
• Maintains dashboards in Business Analytics software for timely financial insights.
• Manages client relationships and participates in meetings to set service expectations.
• Identifies recurring issues and participates in process improvement initiatives.
