The State of Wisconsin is seeking a Financial Specialist at the Flambeau Correctional Center in Hawkins, WI. This role combines complex administrative duties with program support for the Center Superintendent and staff, focusing on purchasing, accounts, records, payroll, and inventory management.

This position is based out of Flambeau Correctional Center in Hawkins, WI (Sawyer County). This is a reannouncement.
This position is a combination of complex administrative and program related support to the Center Superintendent and other administrative staff at the Flambeau Correctional Center (FCC).
This position serves as the sole administrative support in the Center performing office management functions. This position has responsibility for purchasing, management and knowledge of technical support, approving/denying resident disbursement requests, auditing resident accounts, resident payroll, records and inventory management, background checks and providing administrative assistance to Center staff.
This position is in pay schedule and range 02-11 with a starting pay of $25.04/hour. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A probationary period is required.

Any remote work must be performed from Wisconsin.
The Department of Corrections may conduct pre‑employment drug screens. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre‑employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency of employment.
