Job summary

Synovus is seeking a Financial Specialist to deliver distinctive service as the primary client contact. You will engage clients in conversations about products, expand relationships, and promote a highly engaged client experience in line with the Pinnacle Way.

Responsibilities include handling deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and account maintenance, opening new accounts, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or related software.
• Knowledge of federal banking regulations and compliance.
• Broad knowledge of bank products and services.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical and mathematical reasoning abilities with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide distinctive service to clients in person and by phone, minimizing hand-offs.
• Open new accounts and handle banking transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers).
• Ensure compliance with banking policies and federal/state regulations.
• Support office operations and assist the Office Leader to maintain operational excellence.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and refer to other banking areas as appropriate.
