Job summary

Synovus is seeking a Financial Specialist in Fort Myers to deliver distinctive service to clients, acting as the primary point of contact to minimize hand-offs. The role requires deep knowledge of banking products, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle deposits, account openings, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Broad knowledge of bank products and services and applicable regulations.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure with high accuracy.
• Strong analytical and mathematical reasoning with problem-solving ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide distinctive service to clients and prospects, in person and over the telephone.
• Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues; support three-ring standard.
• Assist clients with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and balance inquiries; open new accounts.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and bank policies; process new account paperwork.
• Refer clients to other specialty areas as appropriate and support office leadership.
• Monitor reports and provide operational support to maintain excellence in service.
