Job summary

Carter Bank is seeking a Financial Services Representative to be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through everyday banking needs with a proactive and personalized touch.

You will handle transactions, educate customers on self-service options, open new accounts, and refer customers to partners while building relationships to enhance their financial well-being. Strong communication and basic banking knowledge are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalence required, some college a plus.
• Successful customer service and /or sales experience required.
• Previous experience in a retail bank or related industry preferred.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions and service customer accounts.
• Open new accounts and refer customers to partners.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience through proactive engagement.
• Identify customer needs and generate referrals to internal and external partners.
• Escalate unresolved issues for further research as needed.
• Support branch operations following policies and compliance.
• Participate in bank events and help grow the customer base.
• Aim to meet or exceed sales goals through targeted activities.
