Job summary

Carter Bank is seeking a Financial Services Representative to join our branch team. You will handle daily transactions, assist customers with banking needs, open new accounts, and connect clients with appropriate products and services.

Build relationships to support customers' financial well-being. You will engage with customers to understand needs, offer solutions, and refer to internal partners as needed, while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful customer service and/or sales experience is required.
• Previous experience in a retail bank or related industry is preferred.
• Prior cash handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides a range of customer services including transaction processing, customer and account servicing, opening new accounts and products, and referring to partners.
• Delivers exceptional customer experience through every customer interaction by proactively engaging customers to build relationships and deliver solutions.
• Proactively identifies basic customer needs and generates referrals to branch associates and partners.
• Utilizes bank resources to assist with resolution of basic issues and escalates unresolved ones for further research with clear, accurate answers.
• Contributes to efficient branch operations by following processes and compliance guidelines.
• Supports the bank's strategic plan to grow the retail bank’s business.
• Meets or exceeds sales goals through targeted activities and appropriate product recommendations.
• Owns career development through training, coaching, and self-sourced learning.
• Attends bank-sponsored events to enhance visibility and acquire new customers.
