Job summary

Seacoast Bank is seeking a motivated retail banking professional to support customer interactions, open and service accounts, and promote bank products. You will balance cash, handle checks, and maintain compliance with AML/BSA requirements in a branch setting.

The role emphasizes relationship building, product knowledge, and adherence to Bank risk controls while delivering exceptional service to customers. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months cash handling experience required.
• College degree or 1+ years in retail sales and/or financial services experience required.
• Flexible schedule required with ability to work during hours of operations, including weekends and occasional non-bank operational hours.
• Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and exercise a high degree of initiative.
• PC Proficiency in Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Smartphone devices as well as Microsoft Office Suite software.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit consistent relationship building including, but not limited to: Prepare for various customer interactions; Build rapport; Discuss financial goals and match needs to Seacoast Bank products.
• Open and process accounts, perform account maintenance, process checks, cash and the sale of negotiable instrument transactions adhering to policies and AML/BSA requirements.
• Ensure branch adherence to AML/BSA requirements, audit procedures, dual control, security, and risk mitigation.
• Balance cash drawer daily and respond to management direction to resolve customer objections and retain relationships.
