Job summary

North Shore Community College in Lynn, MA seeks a Clerk V (Financial Services Processor) for the Student Financial Services team. You will support daily operations of Student Accounts and Financial Aid by handling inquiries, processing payments and waivers, reviewing documents, and coordinating communications.

The role requires strong organizational skills, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to work evenings or weekends during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Provide comprehensive customer service support to the Student Financial Services department.
• Must manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accurate records and confidentiality.
• Ability to use office software and higher education platforms (BANNER, Navigate, Cognos, Zogotech, QLess, Constant Contact).
• Capable of working on campus and traveling between Lynn and Danvers campuses as needed.
• Bachelor's/associate degree substitutions for required experience may apply per policy.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and coordinate mailings for the SFS team.
• Respond daily to department emails and voicemail.
• Maintain and update the office calendar.
• Assist students with MyNorthshore and EAB Navigate for access to information and payment plans.
• Process student payments and post tuition/fee waivers.
• Review financial aid documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide coverage for service areas and assist during peak periods.
