Job summary

Mercer Advisors is seeking a Service Operations Associate I in Walnut Creek, CA. The role supports the Client Service department with administrative and transactional tasks, including paperwork processing, money movement, and account maintenance, enabling a seamless client experience.

You will work behind the scenes to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely service delivery, with a structured path to Associate II and III and opportunities for operational leadership.

Qualifications

• Two to Four years of job related experience
• Financial services industry required
• High School diploma with a Bachelor’s degree highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Process client paperwork, forms, and documentation with accuracy and efficiency
• Execute money movement requests (wires, ACH, journal entries) per policies
• Monitor and manage service requests in a centralized queue
• Maintain detailed records in CRM and custodial platforms
• Liaise with custodians and third‑party platforms to resolve issues
• Ensure compliance standards and internal controls are met
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to support service delivery
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements
