The opportunity

Insurance companies worldwide are investing in technology transformation programs, focusing on claims, underwriting, policy, and billing. Your Key Responsibilities

You will work directly with clients to convert business problems into technology solutions, supporting efforts to improve effectiveness and mitigate process risks. Your role includes analyzing business requirements, aligning them with technology architecture, and assisting with vendor selection and implementation plans.

Skills and attributes for success

• Understanding of business needs and ability to translate requirements into technical specifications, collaborating with technical teams.
• Keeping current with industry developments and service capabilities.
• Advising clients on business process services and implementing technology solutions.
• Providing insights from data sources to verify solutions and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborating with diverse teams, mentoring junior staff, and fostering an innovative, inclusive work environment.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years.
• 3+ years in financial services or advising insurance carriers.
• 2+ years managing and supervising teams through all phases of the technology lifecycle.
• Experience with tools like Guidewire, Duck Creek, Insurity, etc., and competencies in system/vendor selection, requirements definition, architecture design, BI, and project management.
• Strong experience in business analysis, Agile SCRUM, and software engineering methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, and enterprise application integration.
• Experience in user acceptance testing and managing business relationships.
