Position Title: Project Manager / Business Analyst – Investment Banking Operations

Location: New York, NY

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $160,000 – $180,000 base + discretionary bonus

Position Overview:

An established investment banking firm is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager / Business Analyst to support operational initiatives with a strong focus on data integrity and process improvement. This individual will be responsible for leading cross-functional projects, ensuring high-quality data standards, and facilitating the seamless adoption of new tools and workflows. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance or operations and a passion for driving organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• New Process Implementation: Lead and support the rollout of new systems and workflows. Define project scope, objectives, and milestones in collaboration with various departments to ensure timely and successful implementation.
• Data Quality Management: Oversee data integrity efforts by identifying inconsistencies, implementing validation procedures, and ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
• Training and User Support: Deliver training programs and ongoing support to ensure users are confident and effective in adopting new tools and procedures.
• Change Management: Assist in crafting and executing change management strategies that promote stakeholder engagement and smooth transitions.
• Continuous Improvement: Exhibit curiosity and a drive for process optimization. Analyze business operations and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience leading the implementation of new business systems or platforms
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment
• Familiarity with formal project management methodologies such as SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches
• Strong data analysis capabilities with a focus on accuracy and actionable insights
• Effective collaboration and communication skills with the ability to gain buy-in across teams
• Understanding of data integrity, compliance, and security best practices
