The role emphasizes cross-selling, collaboration with other departments, and delivering accurate teller services in a branch setting. A focus on member education and problem resolution is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of sales/service experience in financial services or retail.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of financial markets and representation of Credit Union products.
• Minimal travel amongst branches may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller duties efficiently and accurately.
• Promote Credit Union membership and services to members.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities through active listening.
• Address member questions, problems, and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with other business units to serve members.
• Refer members to departments for specialized needs (mortgage, investments, insurance).
• Review branch operations, policies and manuals for compliance.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
