The role involves cash handling, balancing the cash drawer, providing friendly service, following bank policies, and supporting branch operations with flexible hours, including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cash-handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn banking systems, products, and procedures.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Process routine financial transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and transfers.
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accuracy within established tolerances.
• Identify client needs and make appropriate referrals to other bank products and services.
• Follow all bank policies, procedures, and security protocols.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including BSA/AML and privacy requirements.
• Provide friendly, professional service and assist in resolving basic client inquiries.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Support branch operations as needed, including lobby coverage and operational tasks.
