Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a contract-based finance professional in San Antonio, TX to perform complex reconciliations, analyses and reporting. The role supports debt programs, budgeting, and regulatory compliance in a collaborative finance environment.

You will prepare audit support, update dashboards, and drive process improvements across multiple departments, using MS Office and financial systems. Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting preferred; SAP/PeopleSoft/ Hyperion experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Relative experience in program/project management for Operational Units.
• Basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of a particular field of specialization.
• Ability to set priorities, organize work and make occasional exceptions.
• Ability to work in a team environment, coordinating with other areas to achieve goals and objectives.
• Ability to work in a variety of locations such as the field, construction centers and the main office.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, analyzes and distributes financial and statistical reports, including variance explanations.
• Prepares schedules and supporting docs for external audits and financial initiatives.
• Updates dashboards and graphs for trends and ratios.
• Monitors benchmarks and analyzes variances.
• Performs reconciliations and financial data analysis for data accuracy.
• Evaluates policies to align with accounting best practices and regulators.
• Conducts technical research and writes position papers on policies.
• Documents and updates processes with flow charts and improvements.
• Communicates concepts across all levels and external parties.
• Provides high service to internal customers and supports improvement projects.
