Job summary

Staffmark Workforce Solutions seeks a Financial Analyst for a contract assignment in Plano, TX. You will analyze operating results, respond to budget requests, and deliver reporting to management to support spending plans.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor29s degree in business or accounting/finance with 1–3 years of corporate finance experience and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. SAP R/3 experience is a plus, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelore29s Degree with 1-3 years of directly related experience is required
• Prior experience in retail operations preferred
• Must have accounting experience utilizing SAP R/3 software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite experience with solid Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze actual operating results and interpret data and presents results to management
• Respond to budget related requests for financial data
• Responsible for reconciling promotional claims and Point of Sale POS activity
• Research payment reconciliation issues that arise from audits, exception reports or remittance changes
• Generate required reporting to validate payments and resolve discrepancies and variances
• Reconcile carrier commissions against in-store reporting to ensure timely and accurate payment
• Responsible for finance/reporting, financial data analytics
• Deliver reporting and analytics to a variety of key business stakeholders, utilizing appropriate data to effectively create actionable spending plans
