Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineering leader based in New York City with a hybrid work model (3 days in the office per week) to drive end-to-end delivery of AI deployments for Financial Services customers. You will own the delivery plan, coordinate across FDEs, Researchers, and Customer Engineers, and embed with client teams to map workflows and ensure on-time ship and adoption.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of customer-facing technical delivery leadership in financial services.
• Experience leading complex, high-stakes customer engagements with AI.
• Ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments and simplify complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery plan for multiple interdependent work streams; translate objectives into milestones and acceptance criteria.
• Run day-to-day engineering execution; keep progress unblocked and sequenced.
• Embed with customer teams to land deployments and drive adoption; map workflows and translate requirements.
• Partner with Product and Research so components land in time to support deployment goals.
• Codify solution patterns and evals; extract reusable patterns for field signals.
• Own value cases and ROI; set KPIs and report to exec sponsors.
