Job summary

OpenAI's Forward Deployed Engineering team seeks a Deployment Lead Life Sciences in New York with hybrid work arrangements. You will own end-to-end delivery, from mapping customer workflows to shipping production deployments and driving adoption across Life Sciences partners.

You will bring 7+ years of customer-facing technical delivery leadership in Life Sciences and a proven track record of large, AI-enabled engagements.

Qualifications

7+ years of customer-facing technical delivery leadership in Life Sciences.
Experience leading large, complex, high-stakes engagements with AI.
Ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments and simplify complexity.
Fluent in translating technical trade-offs for business leaders.

Responsibilities

Own the technical delivery plan for multiple interdependent workstreams with milestones and acceptance criteria.
Run day-to-day engineering execution across OpenAI FDE and customer teams to keep progress unblocked.
Embed with customer teams to land deployments, map workflows, and lead adoption and change management.
Partner with Product and Research to land platform components and research workstreams on schedule.
Codify reusable solution patterns and field signals to improve products and models.
Own value cases and ROI; set KPIs and measure pre-/post-deployment impact for exec sponsors.
Shape engagement strategies for Life Sciences customers.
