Overview

As a Financial Sales Manager at First Citizens Bank, your role will focus on outbound calling activities to generate new business opportunities. You may partner with a business or commercial banker to provide expertise around business deposits and related services. You will manage sales efforts and associates in a boutique branch location, overseeing office operations with support from an operations specialist.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales through individual and team goals, developing relationships with centers of influence, prospects, and referral sources.
  • Engage proactively with customers and prospects to generate new business and CRA opportunities.
Team Management
  • Manage performance and personnel functions, supporting associate development through coaching and mentoring.
Service/Operations Standards
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures to manage risks related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal aspects.
  • Foster partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects, and colleagues, and initiate conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience in sales, customer service, lending, or financial services sales, including supervisory experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience.

License or Certification: Must complete federal registration and renewal as required by the SAFE Act. Must possess a valid driver's license for frequent travel.

Required Skills: Structured sales process application, financial guidance, financial literacy, business banking products knowledge, business development, networking, and relationship building.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of retail banking products and services.
  • Ability to network and build centers of influence.
  • Problem-solving skills.
