Job summary

Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. is seeking self-motivated individuals for its Accelerator Program as Financial Representative Trainee.

You will complete a comprehensive trainee experience to prepare you for selling Individual Insurance and building a holistic financial practice. The program includes classroom, hands-on projects, mentorship, and aims to promote independent advisory work within 24 months; earnings potential starts at $36,000 per year with uncapped incentives, plus a $1000 completion

Qualifications

• Obtain the required insurance licenses prior to starting the job, with up to two attempts for Life and Health.
• Pass CRD/FINRA background check at hire and ongoing; securities licensing within 24 months.
• Be highly self-motivated, results-oriented, able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop holistic financial advice skills and participate in goal-setting sessions.
• Gain direct sales experience selling Individual Insurance to clients and pass a sales test.
• Cultivate prospecting skills through networks, events, and social media.
• Learn product offerings and articulate features and benefits.
• Oversee content, proposals, and paperwork to ensure smooth underwriting flow.
